I'm the kind of girl that doesn't like to pay a lot of money for things when I know I can get a better deal. But for some reason, this only applies to certain things. For instance, I have a friend who loves to shop at Ross (you know, "Dress for Less" Ross). She shows up with the CUTEST dresses, skirts, shirts...and she, a lot of the time, has gotten them at Ross. As for me, I don't like to "dig". I have to be in a certain frame of mind and I find with two little kids, I don't get in that frame of mind all too often. So I would rather go to a store, see a piece of clothing I like, flip through until I find my size and "Voila!!", that's the end of the "digging". So, yes, I pay more, but sometimes, it really is worth it to save me some time.
Yesterday I went to get some things I needed for a cake this weekend and while at the craft store I saw that scrapbooking paper was on sale (6 sheets for 96 cents - woo hoo!). Hudson's birthday is coming up (not for 6 more months, but that is SOOOO beside the point) so I went to look for some paper for invitations. I don't do fill in the blank invitations... just knowing that I can make something personalized for the same price or cheaper...it's a no brainer! Anyhow, being the party planner that I am, I already have a theme in mind and found the perfect paper and ribbon! The best part...I got supplies for 24 invitations for $6.33! That's 26 cents per invitation!
I'll make sure to post a picture when I make them. I'm sure all of you will be wrought with anticipation for the next 5 months or so... and don't try to tell me different. :)
