Off we go...

...well, not yet, but soon. I have our bags packed and I am in the process of cleaning the house and getting laundry done. I DO NOT want to come home to dishes in the sink and a pile of dirty clothes! Brian will be here, but he promises to keep it clean (and with the amount of time he will actually spend here, I don't worry about it). I have already packed my camera's and USB cables, or I would take a picture of the amount of stuff we're taking. It's almost embarrassing. You are allowed one carry-on and one "personal item" to take on the plane. After trying to cram everything into a diaper bag that would count as my personal item, I gave up and pulled out a backpack and now it's full to the brim! (I find it funny how my personal item has nothing personal to me...it all belongs to a 6 month old and a 4 year old - all I gotta say - not fair!) The worst part is that I KNOW I'm forgetting stuff. I made a list, days ago, of everything that we use/need throughout the day and tailored it to the trip...but I know there are some things I'm forgetting. I'm sure we'll manage and end up having an awesome time. I am going to try to post pictures each day of what we're up to, but I don't know how realistic that is...stay tuned!
