We just got back to the doctor where Reed was diagnosed with the lovely thing called swimmers ear (which is evidently an infection of the outer ear). We have to put antibiotic drops in his ear 3 times a day and keep them out of the water for a week.
Hmmm... summer in Texas with a 5 year old and no swimming. It's gonna be a LONG week!

Oh dear!!! The Blevins' don't have much luck with ears. So sorry.
Wow. He must have it pretty bad. Conner had that a few weeks ago. He was up all night crying that his ear hurt. I called the doctor, told them what was up, they told me to put alcohol drops in it and keep it dry, and he was fine. Good luck!
Ouch.....poor Reed.....I know what that feels like.....that's what I had a couple months ago....outer ear infection.
