NYC Day 1

A few months back, I decided to take the boys to NYC for spring break. Brian didn't want to go- all the people and traffic congestion would get to him real quick, so I asked my mom if she wanted to go with us. We booked the trip and Hudson has been asking "How long until we go?" ever since.
We got up yesterday and everything was off to an interesting start. I put my motion sickness patch on begins my ear as I always do before trips. Then on the way to get donuts, I had something in my eye.   I got it all squared away, then after about a few minutes noticed that the vision in my right eye was off. I looked I the mirror and noticed this-
My pupil in my right eye was dilated! I freaked out and started googling it. There were articles about syndromes and unruptured aneurisms... But then I came upon and article that said medicines on motion sickness patches could cause it. Whew. :)
The boys, my mom and me and my goofy eye headed to the airport. It was raining and I was sure about how long security lines were, so we got there a little early. We checked in, ate lunch, and sat and waited while they got a part for the data recording machine and installed it. All I could think of was that our plane was missing a phalange (for all you Friends watchers). :) Waiting for our plane-

Finally got in the plane and made it to the city. Got a cab and the boys watched the TV in the back for the ride to the airport.

Our room is awesome. We are at the Tryp by Windham. We got a family room so the boys could have their own beds. I stood in the doorway to the master bedroom and took a picture.

Then turned around and took one of the bedroom. The boys have a bathroom and we have our own which is super great!

We unpacked a little and headed out to eat dinner. The boys first trip on the subway.  Selfies on the subway- can you say tourist?

We ate pizza and Ray's and then walked through Times Square.

Everybody was pretty pooped at this point, so we went back to the hotel and went to bed. It was a good first day.
