NYC Day 2

We started our day with a trip to Rockafeller Center.  First we went up to Top of the Rock.  The elevator up was mesmerizing to Hudson.  It's clear so you can see the elevator shaft above, but there are also lighted pictures and effects as you go up.  The boys like that part. :)

We got up there and I'd was such a good day.  Nice and clear.  Reed & Hudson used the telescopes and could see tiny people on the ground and they both thought that was pretty awesome.

We only stayed up there for about 20 minutes and then came down to explore Rockafeller Center.

First stop? Mecca. :)

After closer inspection, the Lego sign is made out of a bunch of mini figs.

Inside the store...

They had 3 for $10 build your own minifigs, so they each did one and then made a keepsake one for Mimi.

Up close...
I just can't get over Reed's. The hair and glasses- so cute!!!

Then we walked to Grand Central Station to catch the subway and has a cupcake break.

We took the subway to the World Trade Center site to see the memorial.

We just walked through the memorial but are saving the museum.  Not only was the line long, but there is rain in the forecast and we will probably need something to do inside.  We then went to Central Park and spent just a little time there.

There was a gentleman that had two stick tied together with a string.  He was making these HUGE bubbles much to the enjoyment of some little kids.

All in all, my Fitbit tells me it was a good day. :)
